Authorised Economic Operator (AEO)
We are pleased to announce that ACP Freight Services was granted Authorised Economic Operator (AEOF) Status on 25 August 2019. AEOF is full authorisation, and therefore includes both Customs Simplification and Safety & Security.
Our AEO status demonstrates that we maintain the highest standards of processes, procedures, and security, ensuring the integrity of the supply chain for their customers at all times. As a ‘trusted’ company our customers will benefit from our Full AEO status even if they do not hold the status themselves.
ONLY 1077 companies in the UK hold AEO status, 565 of which hold full AEO Status. ACP Freight Services is one of them.
ONLY 3% of companies that apply for AEO status are granted it the first time without being rejected. ACP Freight Services is one of them.
ONLY 5% of logistic companies that apply for AEO status are granted it. ACP Freight Services is one of them.
In-house Customs Team
Our dedicated Customs Team have been preparing for the new UK – EU customs formalities since the announcement that the UK was to leave the EU (Brexit), including completion of various customs training courses. Our team consists of both new employees, and some existing employees that changed role so that the Customs Team would benefit from having a proficient transport background with members that already understand the needs of our customers. The Customs Team continues to undertake additional training, attend workshops and webinars to ensure we are up to date with latest developments.

Small business approach with large organisation resources
We at ACP strive to provide an excellent and personalised service to all our customers. We believe that the building of long-term relationships is key when looking to improve operational efficiency. At ACP, we endeavour to understand our customers exact needs, so that we can utilise our extensive resources coupled with our small business approach to provide you with the exact service that you require.
Multilingual
We at ACP strongly value diversity as we believe that people from different backgrounds bring fresh ideas, thinking and approaches to the world of work. This belief enables our customers to benefit from both improved levels of service, and the fact that most of our staff are multilingual.

Environmental awareness
Due to the nature of freight transport contributing large outputs of CO2 emissions, we do our best at ACP to be as environmentally friendly as possible in all aspects of the business. As part of our Environmental Policy we have achieved our main goal of becoming a paperless office by 2020, through improving our software capabilities. Another major step we have taken to reduce our output of CO2 emissions is to encourage our staff to work from home, which in turn reduces the CO2 output from their commute to work. Alongside these commitments, our fleet of trucks are kept up to date to ensure that they produce as little CO2 emissions as possible.
